Hello Force Nation!!

So excited and looking forward to our first meet of 2026! Please read all information pertaining to this meet.

We will be visiting the Cinco Ranch - South Ranch Surge Swim Team on 5/30/26.

Address: Cinco Ranch South Ranch pool (5125 S Fry Rd, Katy, TX 77450) is located on the southwest corner of the Mason and Fry Road intersection.  The pool entrance is directly opposite Beck Junior High. Park at Beck Jr. High and walk over to the pool. There is no designated “walking / crossing guard”, so all families will have to be “responsible” for their own family when crossing the street. Please DO NOT park along Fry Road or Church Colony. Church Colony is the entrance to the Meadow Glen subdivision next to the park area. Any cars parked here may be towed. Splash Pad / Water Park / Froggie Pool Areas - These areas will be fenced off during the meet. Swimmers from both teams will be instructed by the coaches not to touch these fences and not to play in this area, including putting their feet in the water and sitting on the side of the pool.

Seating is first come, first serve. Sit wherever you wish, on any grassy area. Facing the pool with the entrance gate at your back, the South Ranch swimmers tents will be on the right side of the pool and the visiting swimmers will be set up on the back side of the pool (left of the splash pad and behind the diving boards). If you choose to sit alongside the pool, please keep in mind that Stroke / Turn judges will be walking back and forth along the sides of the pool judging the meet. Please show them courtesy and move, if asked to. There will also be an area that will be roped off for our Starter and Event Flipper, and console operators. Do not try to maneuver your way under these ropes. DO NOT set up any chairs on the concrete area on the right side of the pool as we keep this area clear for pedestrian traffic, especially our swimmers.

We need setup parents onsite by 6:00 AM ready to move the tents and tarps into the pool area. Everyone else, please check your swimmers in with the coaches by 6:30 AM and get their swimmer number so we can see who is in attendance for the meet. Then please escort them to the appropriate age swimmer tent.

Assisted Swimmers heat will be event 00 and held at the beginning of the meet if necessary.

There will be a 10-minute break before or after the IM and will be announced during Backstroke events.

Concession tables will be set up outside pool area near the park. Kolaches and/or Shipley Do-Nuts will be sold. Pizza available at 10:45. A shaved ice truck will also be on site.

Pack a chair, bug spray, sunblock, towel, team suit, team shirt, goggles, swim cap, ear plugs (if needed), water bottle, flip flops or crocs, quiet activities for entertainment, etc. Please make sure you are well aware of your volunteer position and what it entails.
