New Morning Practices Times & Procedures
Force Nation,
We are so excited to begin Morning Practices THIS Friday!!! Please note that we have made slight changes to our MORNING practice times per our agreement with the HOA. (See new times here.) As you know, the Force uses the FFC community pool and has been since our inception in 2019. We've always ensured to make safety a priority and to take care of the pool and leave it as we find it so that it's ready for residents to use.
The FFC pool is managed by Sweetwater Pools, and I must say they have done a great job of keeping it up to code. Other swim teams have had to delay the start of their season due to their pool not being in compliance with the County.
That being said, we are working closely with the HOA and Sweetwater to ensure it continues to be up to code, ensure community rules are followed, and safety stays at that top of the list. Therefore, effective immediately, we are implementing the following procedures at morning practices:
- The gate will be closed for the duration of all morning practices.
- Only FFST swimmers and their parents will be allowed on the pool deck. Sorry, friends cannot come to watch their buddies swim. Siblings are ok as long as they are with a parent.
- After morning practices, Coaches and Board Members will ensure the deck is clear of ALL parents and swimmers. This includes residents and non-residents.
Sweetwater Lifeguards Will Monitor the Following:
- Any residents who wish to spend the day at the pool after practice will need to walk out of the gate and check in with the Lifeguards before they are allowed back in.
- Non-residents must be accompanied by a resident who has already checked in for the day.
Thank you for your understanding of these simple changes, and as always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach back out to us.
See you at the pool!
